Kato Drys village (directly translated into English as “Lower Oak”) is nestled in the mountains of Cyprus, which enjoys some of the cleanest air on the island and optimal weather conditions throughout the seasons. There is a local kafenio (cafe), Jam shop, and large village restaurant, shaded by an old plane tree. In recent years, the village has become more popular, as it has been recognized as an ideal place to visit for agrotourism, to view the surrounding nature, and to gain insight into traditional Cypriot culture. Also, there is a popular annual music festival called Fengaros which takes place in the village during the late Summer.
